INTERIOR

As you come into the main entrance you will
be greeted by the striking suit of armour
standing in the grand entrance hall with an
elegant staircase leading up to the galleried
landing. You will walk on stunning reclaimed
stone flooring which is laid through the
ground floor, landing and terraces. The
dining room boasts many original features
and its large antique dining room table can
seat up to 12 people allowing for a grand
feast!
One of the many complimented features
Villa Cretole has to offer is its bespoke
hand-painted luxury kitchen with beautiful
marble work-tops, all of which are locally
sourced. It has a large inbuilt fridge freezer
and a separate pull-out door fridge, state of
the art range cooker, large dishwasher, two
sink areas (one for prepping and the other
for washing up). In the middle of this Tuscan
craftsmanship stands a lovely wood top
island, maximising the ergonomic feel to this
stunning kitchen. It is fully utilised with
brand new kitchen utensils and crockery
which has both elegant and rustic types,
perfect for all dinner occasions. A well
placed location within the house, it also
leads out onto the large side terrace with
outside tables and chairs making this a
pleasure to potter to-and-fro. This area of
the houses always entices its guests to
explore their culinary senses!

Next to the kitchen is the utility room which
also has a cloakroom. Further on is a
bathroom with a large sink, toilet and
washing machine. The breakfast room is
suitably next door which seats up to 8
people. This room also includes the stereo
docking station for the in-house speaker
system which is featured in every room
allowing you to create an abundance of
ambience and entertainment throughout the
entire house, if you so wish.

The front sitting room leads on to the grand
covered terrace laid with the lovely
reclaimed pietra stone also. This terrace
has another dining table where you can sit
and sip your wine whilst over-looking one of
the finest panoramic views Tuscany has to
offer. The back sitting room is situated in
the centre of the house over a working
fireplace, making it feel very cosy. In this
room sits a large flat screen TV, DVD player
and selection of films catering for those
more relaxing and lazy evenings in! On the
ground floor also lives a delightfully sweet
single bedroom with its own en-suite marble
shower room adorned by a large clear glass
panel, sink and toilet. (This room is perfectly
suitable for elderly guests who would rather
not contend with the stairs to get to their
beds.)

You can get to the first floor via the beautiful
staircase in the entrance hall which is
decorated with an elegant chandelier
proudly hanging from its center. All the
flooring on the first and second floor is
reclaimed terracotta tiles and all fireplaces
are reclaimed also. On this level there is a

with a reclaimed stone fireplace and double
bedroom. This bathroom has a very large
cast iron bath, a marble surround shower,
toilet, bidet and two sinks. Leading onto the

and linen cupboard opposite which contains
an abundance of towels and sheets should
you ever want extra. There is a bathroom
next to this bedroom, again with a beautiful
marble surround shower, cast iron bath on
legs, sink and toilet. The third bedroom
contains a double bedroom with an en-suite
bathroom containing a marble surround
shower, cast iron bath on legs, toilet and
sink. Also on this level is a further sitting
room with a pietra stone open reclaimed
fireplace for the use of the two bedrooms.

double bedroom as it has the use of a comfy
sofa bed.

For a more modern feel you can venture on
up from the large landing to the apartment
which lives on the second floor via the
Villa`s quaint oak staircase. The apartment
is comprised of a large living/seating and
dining room area with roof-high ceilings and
a luxury modern white kitchen with all brand

two pleasant double bedrooms, one with an
en suite marble surround shower, sink, toilet
and bidet. The other has an en suite
bathroom with a cast iron bath with a
shower head, sink and toilet. Apart from the
single bed on the ground floor, all the beds
at Villa Cretole are super comfy super king
size with some being zip and link. As if that
wasn`t enough, there is a double zone
central heating system throughout the
house, perfect for the winter.
What you see outside the villa is as
beautiful as inside. Walking on down from
the front terrace and situated below the
property is Villa Cretole`s extravagant and
inviting swimming pool (14 m x 7 m). There
is also a pool house where you can store
things as well as an outside shower if you
need to wash off. This utterly refreshing
feature allows guests to cool down in crystal
clear water whilst admiring the wonderful
panoramic views of the deep forest-filled
Tuscan valley upon which the pool area
overlooks. Historically rich local villages
such as Anghiari can be seen from this truly
mouth-watering panoramic view. This is
undoubtedly one of Villa Cretole`s most
unique features and is enough to make any
one feel that they are on top of the world,
literally!
Across from the side terrace of the villa lives
a lovely pond where you can spot many Koi
Carp splashing around. The terraced
gardens boast a beautiful array of planted
lavender, rosemary, herbs and fruit trees
which produce the most delightful summery
aromas for your noses to enjoy. The
gardens and location of Villa Cretole truly
embody the radiance of nature and creates
a colourful, loving, warm and altogether
magical Mediterranean experience
